There is - in practical terms - no such thing as a "Moderate Muslim". There are Muslims who DO follow Islam, there are "Muslims" who DO NOT follow Islam, and there are Muslims who understand that there are TWO Islams: One which is presented to the western media, and one which is presented in mosques and followed. The one presented to the media is a lie.
Two Islams
Islam is divided into two portions within the Qu'ran by period and resulting doctrine: Meccan - "dead" - Islam, and Medina - "living" - Islam. The Quran does contain peaceful words and ideas. These more spiritual portions of the Qu'ran correspond to the first period of Muhammad's attempt to convince the world that he himself was "God's final messenger" in Mecca. His message was not particularily well received and his campaign then moved on to Medina where he decided that if his words of peace would not convince people he himself held the last revelation of God, he would use violent force and armies. Muhammad and his followers then commited genocide against the Jews of Medina.There exists in Islam something called "The principle of abrogation". In the Qu'ran, Allah issues blatently contradictory statements and commands in various places. Since there is in fact no reconcilliation between the verses which stress peace and freedom of religion, and the more numerous verses which say exactly the opposite, the Qu'ran itself sets forth the principle that previous verses are abrogated - that is nullified- by subsequent verses which appear to contradict them. Thus it came to be that there are "two Islams"; one "dead" - from the Meccan period, and one "living" - from the violent Medina period which replaced the directives given at Mecca with commandments to kill unbelievers. When Muslims wish to give evidence to the west that their religion is peaceful and spiritual, they cite abrogated verses such as "there shall be no compulsion in religion". Meccan Islam is therefore considered by Muslims to be "dead Islam", having been abrogated by the Medina period and it's commandments which came afterwards. To illustrate the point, we may look at the following verse from the Medina period of Islam which abrogates - nullifies - the assertion that Islam is not compulsory:
If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good). [Qu'ran 3:85]
And if any believe not in Allah and His Messenger, We have prepared, for those who reject Allah, a Blazing Fire! [Qu'ran 48:13]
The Vicious Hatred Islam Has For The West Has A Cause:
"I heard the Prophet saying, "In the last days (of the world) there will appear young people with foolish thoughts and ideas. They will give good talks, but they will go out of Islam as an arrow goes out of its game, their faith will not exceed their throats. So, wherever you find them, kill them, for there will be a reward for their killers on the Day of Resurrection." [Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 61, Number 577]
The war on the West by Islam is not remarkable, nor is the vehement antisemitism of the Arab world. The hatred of Jews AND Christians is NOT the result of their partial possession of Jerusalem, nor is it the so-called "Palestinian cause". The hatred of Jews, Christians and all other designated 'pagans' IS ISLAMIC and it has been maintained and taught as Islamic doctrine for 1,400 years, and manifested in genocide at every opportunity by Muslims.
There is no practical difference between the beliefs of Adolf Hitler, and those of the Islamic world. Muslim propagandists want the West to believe...
- That WE are responsible for all the "problems" of Terrorism against us.
- They even go so far as to try to hijack the term "anti-semetic" and apply it to themselves - because they are a largely semetic group.
- Saudi Arabia'a largest news paper is printing stories that "Jews are using the blood of Palestinian teenagers in their baked goods for religious ceremonies".
- That "the Holocaust never happened". That "the Jews were responsible for September 11th in an attempt to start a war against Islam".
One can not help but see the paralells between Islam, and the Branch Davidians lead by David Koresh; Both groups were delusional and paranoid, both groups believe in the fulfillment of a violent prophecy, and it seems likely that Islam is intent upon the prophecy of "a war on Islam by unbelievers" being self-fulfilled just as David Koresh was.Unless ye go forth, (for Jihad) He will punish you with a grievous penalty, and put others in your place; but Him ye would not harm in the least. [Qu'ran 9:39]
Usama bin Laden is not "distorting" Islam. He is actually practicing Islam very faithfully according to the teachings of Islam itself.
These views and this interpertation of Islam are NOT the exception, they are the norm, whether in the middle east, or in America's mosques. When the WTC was destroyed on September 11th, who did Muslims blame? Jews. America. These views are NOT representitive of the minority of Muslims, but the overwhelming majority, both in the Arab world, AND among Australian Muslims. That you hear the occasional "Moderate" Muslim propagandist denouncing such views as "UnIslamic" does not change the facts, and the facts were clearly revealed in recent major poll of Muslims; They blame America, they blame Australia, they blame "the Jews". As a group, Muslims have shown themselves to be either completely delusional, or totally evil. Like an infection imposed by force, Islam damns a signifigant percentage of the global population to a quest for absolute power with absolute hatred for everyone but themselves. Spend some time debating Muslims of the internet and find out for yourself if you have any further doubts.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?1. Educate yourself. You've already recieved an abreviated crash course on true Islam by reading this page. Write letters to the editor of your local news paper, submit letters online at various news media websites.
